다. 알콜해독작용

혈중 알코올을 낮추어주는 실험에서는 모든 추출물을 투여한 군에서 효과가 있었다. 이것과 관련된 알코올 탈수소 효소에 대한 실험에서는 추출물을 투여한 모든 군에서 활성이 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 혈액내의 지질과산화물의 농도가 알코올 투여군에 비하여 유의성 있게 감소 하였다. 간 세포 내 항산화 효소계 실험에서는 알코올 투여에 의하여 상승된 효소활성이 모든 분획물을 투여에 이하여 유의성 있게 감소하였다. 분획물에서 알코올 중독에 의해 발생되는 산화적 스트레스에 효과가 있음을 확인하였고 이는 붉은자루 동충하초가 알코올성 질병에 대한 차세대 치료물질로서 가능성이 있음을 보여준다.
