동충하초중에서 CLAVICIPITACEAE (Lindau) 속하는 동충하초는?

   요사이는 매우 추운 날씨가 계속된다. 나이가 70이 되었어도 매일 하는 일이 기다려주어 시간이 더욱더 빨리 지나가는 것 같다. 오늘은 Studies In Mycology 57 (2007)에 게재된 Phylogenetic classification of Cordyceps and the clavicipitaceous fungi에서 3개의 과 중 CLAVICIPITACEAE (Lindau) Earle ex Rogerson, Mycologia 62 : 900. 1970, emend. G.H. Sung, J.M. Sung, Hywel-Jones & Spatafora 에 속하는 동충하초에 대하여 정리를 하려고 한다.

   대표종으로는 Claviceps로 맥각균이며 동충하초에 속하는 종은 METACORDYCEPS와 SHIZUOMYCES가 있는데 METACORDYCEPS G.H. Sung, J.M. Sung, Hywel-Jones & Spatafora, gen. nov. MycoBank MB504182로 한국 용문산에서 처음 발견하여 Metacordyceps yongmunensis G.H. Sung, J.M. Sung & Spatafora, sp.nov. MycoBankMB504183으로 보고를 하였다. 이외에도 2Metacordyceps brittlebankisoides (ZuoY. Liu,Z.Q. Liang, Whalley, Y.-J. Yao & A.Y. Liu) G.H. Sung, J.M. Sung, Hywel-Jones & Spatafora, comb. nov. MycoBank MB504184.≡ Cordyceps brittlebankisoides ZuoY. Liu, Z.Q. Liang, Whalley, Y.-J. Yao & A.Y. Liu, J. Invert. Pathol. 78: 179. 2001. Anamorph: Metarhizium
 7종이나 된다.
