중국교수님으로부터 동충하초박물관 scientific advisor을 위촉 메일을 받았다.

어제 하루 종일 비가 오더니 10월 1일부터 시작하는 제10회 한우축제 준비를 잘 하라고 맑은 가을 날씨이다. 어제는 동충하초 연구를 하면서 동충하초 정보를 나누던 중국에 계신 동충하초 연구를 하시는 이 교수님으로부터 메일을 받았다. 2011년 정년을 하시고 상해에 있는 동충하초 회사에 초빙되어 동충하초를 연구하게 되었다고 하신다. 그 회사에서 동충하초 박물관을 설립하고 책임자가 되시어 저에게 과학자문위원으로 위촉을 하였습니다. 중국에서 자문위원을 위촉을 받게 된 것을 보면 동충하초로 잘 알려진 사람으로 인정을 받아 매우 기쁘다.  산업화 되고 있는 동충하초와 함께 이 교수님이 보낸 메일을 올려놓고 오늘도 동충하초와 함께 즐겁게 하루를 보내려고 한다.

How have been? I hope everything is fine with your Cordyceps institute. I have similar situation here: I got retired early 2011 from Anhui Agricultural University and was invited by BioAsia Pharmaceutical, a private company, to be the director of their Life Science Institute and the chief scientist of the company. The main project of the company is development of Cordyceps spp., mainly Isaria cicadae, for medical and food use.
Now I am preparing to settle Cordysium, a non profit Cordyceps musium, at Pinhu, Zhejiang, adjecent to Shanghai. We have been working hard to the object and have almost got everything done. It will be open on 18 October, nearly one month later. By then, I will be the curator. I do hope I can meet you here.
I am Now organizing a scientific advisory committee for the museum. With outstanding achievements, you are one of the suitable candidators. We would be proud if you could kindly agree to be our scientific advisor. It is very much appreciated if you reply me asap.
